لبس المحرمة النقاب و الكفاز للشيخ صالح الفوزان
It’s not permissible to wear niqab (face veil) or gloves during Umrah or Hajj. - ash-Shaikh Dr. Saalih bin Fawzan Al Fawzan حفظه الله
If she wore it ignorantly (not knowing that its impermissible to wear niqab during umrah or hajj) then there is no sin upon her. She is not punished, due to her ignorance.
However, If she knew and was aware that it’s impermissible for the woman making Umrah to wear niqab or wear gloves - if she knew this or was told about this- then she committed a prohibition that violates (but does not invalidate) her ihram.
Upon her is a compensation (fidhiyyah) from the choice of:
[A] Slaughtering a sheep within the Haram area (the sacred area in Makkah) and giving it to the needy people there.
[B] Feeding 6 needy people in the Haram.
[C] Fasting 3 days.
* According to Shaikh Saalih Fawzan and the Permanent Committee of Senior Scholars the woman MUST cover her face but during Umrah or Hajj she does so with anything other than a Niqab. She can put down a layer of cloth or hijab etc.
Kum sum ni dah.

I do not watch the news, I cannot watch the news and desensitise my heart from death and injustice. I cannot sit there and watch all that in Hd whilst drinking tea and munching on biscuits and go to bed. Ya Allah please come to the aid of those that are suffering all over the world.
"While as for those who accept guidance, He increases their guidance, and bestows on them their piety." [Surah Muhammad (47:17)]
Something worth reblogging from the kid sister, finally.
For anyone who wants proof that Palestine existed before 1948, here’s a coin from 1927 worth 10 Mils (this currency is no longer used). Also note that the word “Palestine” is written in both Arabic and Hebrew indicating not only a Jewish presence, but a prominent one. Jews and Arabs DID live side by side in peace. The Zionist idea tht they cannot coexist is an absolute fallacy. Credit to @geddawi for the picture and for collecting old coins like this to begin with :). (I’m stealing this coin from you when I come, just an FYI).
Eat Little, Be Cautious, and Constantly Remember Allāh by Shaykh Dr. Muhammad Sa’īd Raslān حفظه الله
Ibn Jamā’ah said: “From the best ways to help yourself understand the knowledge you are dealing with and to prevent boredom from it is to eat very little, and from what is halāl.
ash-Shāfi’ī said: “For the past sixteen years, I never ate my fill.”
The reason for this is…
the montreal woman who died yesterday due to her hijab getting tangled was a mother of two kids and a new immigrant to Canada. Her husband recently went to Morocco because his Mother passed away. What a sad news to find out your wife passed away too :’( Inna lilaahi wa inna ilayhi raji oon. May Allah grant her jannah and grant her family sabr, ameen.
I really hope Quebec does not try to use this story as a reason to push for the hijab ban.
Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaj’oon. I didn’t know she was Muslim. I pray Allaah makes her grave spacious and illuminated. Ammeen
